Marche and Umbria - Urbino and Gubbio are 30 minutes away. Urbino itself boasts
half a dozen major attractions but there are dozens of other magnificent towns
- including Fano, Pesaro, Senigallia, San Leo, Loreto, Jesi - and numerous medieval
hill villages to stumble across with hardly a tourist in sight. A walk through
